CONTRACT VERIFICATION AND OEC

Do I need to do contract verification? – If you are a Foreign Domestic Worker, your contract needs to be verified every two years even if you are renewing to the same employer. If you have changed your employer, you must submit the documents at the Embassy immediately after receiving your new work permit. For more information, you may visit this website:  Contract Verification for Domestic Workers

If you are a professional/skilled worker, verification is needed if you have recently changed your employer or position or your contract has changed duration.

For more information, you may visit this website:  Contract Verification for Professional/ Skilled Workers

My FDW is going on Home Leave soon, what do I need to prepare? –  For home leave, she needs to have a verified contract, valid OWWA, and OEC. OEC can be generated online if your FDW’s contract is verified and she is returning to the same employer. Verification of the FDW contract needs to be done every 2 years regardless if she’s going home to the Philippines or not. She also needs to register at etravel.gov.ph 3 days before her flight to the Philippines. When coming back, she needs to do the etravel again and get an SG Arrival Card.

You may check the requirements for Contract Verification, OEC,  and the link for booking an appointment, through this website: Contract Verification for Domestic Workers

How do I generate OEC? – Kindly refer to our website OEC Guide

The OEC I generated does not cover the exit date of my FDW even if I encoded the flight date – Kindly take note that OEC is only valid 60 days from date generated and OEC is needed upon exit in the Philippines. It is advisable that this is generated closer to the date of return to Singapore to ensure that validity covers the exit date. You may wait for your OEC to expire and generate a new one upon expiration of the current OEC.

My OEC is still valid but I have used it and I need a new one as I am going back to the Philippines and returning to Singapore within the validity date of the used OEC – You need to file a helpdesk ticket for Deployment Encoding. You may find the instructions at the last part of this website: OEC Guide

If you wish to update your employment details, please book an appointment for Contract Verification.

If you don’t have a record with POEA/ DMW yet, MWO Singapore will only verify your employment contract and your OEC should be acquired at the nearest POEA/ DMW office in the Philippines.

How do I update it? – If you have a previous record with POEA/ DMW, you may send a copy of your verified contract to this email address: mwosg2023@gmail.com for us to encode your details online. However, if you don’t have a previous record with POEA/ DMW yet, our office will only verify your employment contract and your OEC should be acquired at the nearest DMW/ POEA office in the Philippines upon return to the country.

I am an employer and I want to directly hire a domestic worker from the Philippines. What are the requirements needed at the Embassy? –  There is a ban on direct hiring of domestic workers. For more information, you may refer to this website Direct Hiring of Domestic Worker
